Delete your account

At PuntosPro you can delete your account at any time. This page explains the two ways to do it and what data is deleted. Deletion is permanent: we can't restore your account once it's processed.

If you have the app installed

  1. Open PuntosPro on your phone.
  2. Tap the "Profile" tab in the bottom bar.
  3. Scroll down to the red "Delete my account" section.
  4. Confirm with your password and type DELETE. That's it — it's processed instantly.

If you can't access the app

If you've lost access (forgot your password, lost the device, or no longer have the app installed), email us at privacy@puntospro.com with the following information to verify your identity:

  • Email registered at PuntosPro.
  • Full name associated with the account.
  • Photo of your ID / Passport (or official document) — to confirm it's you. The photo is used only for verification and destroyed afterwards.

We process the request within 24-48 business hours. We'll confirm by email once done.

If you're a business (admin panel)

If you manage a business, sign in at puntospro.com/login → Settings → General tab → at the bottom there's a "Danger zone" section with the button to delete the business. Only the ADMIN role can execute it.

What gets deleted

Cliente / Customer

  • Your profile (name, email, phone, date of birth, gender, ID if provided).
  • Your unique personal QR and alias.
  • All your memberships, points, and tiers across all businesses.
  • Your history of transactions, redemptions, and coupon books.

Comercio / Business

  • The business and all its configuration.
  • Memberships of your enrolled customers (Customer accounts themselves are not deleted, only their relationship with this business).
  • Rewards, campaigns, surveys, products, coupon books, punch cards.
  • Subscription, MercadoPago connection, and all team accounts (admin + staff).

What we retain (legal obligation)

  • Anonymized audit records (with no possibility of re-identifying you) for up to 5 years, for fraud prevention.
  • Billing information if you purchased coupon books: legally required by tax authorities for up to 10 years. Data is anonymized at the personal level where possible.
